I am a lawyer, an AI systems builder, and a strategic advisor. Partner in an international IP law firm; legal knowledge engineer in one of the world's leading firms; founder of an AI engineering practice; inventor of UAPK, an infrastructure for governing autonomous entities. That combination is unusual, and it is the point: law taught me how rules, power, and institutions determine what people can actually do. Engineering taught me how systems produce behavior — reliably, whether anyone intends it or not. Advisory work taught me that the hardest problems people bring are never the problems they name first.

Why listen to me on turning points? Because I have taken several of my own — across professions, jurisdictions, and identities — and because I have spent years building systems whose entire purpose is to make behavior explicit, governed, and predictable. I have felt the difference between a life that functions and a life that fits, from inside. I will not motivate you. I will not tell you that everything is possible. My current primary building project is UAPK: a compiler and runtime for autonomous business entities, in which every entity's identity, capabilities, constraints, and permitted actions are defined explicitly before it acts. The Road Not Taken is the longer human thesis behind that work. If artificial agency becomes more reliable when its nature is made explicit — what might the same questions reveal about human agency? Humans have no configuration file, and this practice never pretends otherwise. But we do live by hidden constitutions. Making them visible is what this work is for.
